Our Assessment Services

The HeartWork team conducts evidence-based psychodiagnostic evaluations with young children, adolescents, and adults in order to answer a wide range of referral questions. We are a boutique clinic that provides the highest quality care through our use of empirically validated and clinically appropriate assessment tools. We take a strengths-based approach throughout the process, and tailor each evaluation to address your specific questions and concerns. The formal report that follows an evaluation provides you with diagnostic clarity and personalized treatment recommendations that empower you or your family member to live your best life.

What to Expect

We provide assessment services in a timely manner and can typically schedule an appointment within 2-4 weeks from our first conversation with you. Once we have discussed the assessment process and decided to move forward, your HeartWork provider will meet with you over several appointments to get a thorough picture of your concerns, gather background information, review prior treatment/testing records, administer psychological measures, and provide feedback on the results of the evaluation. On average, we will meet with you or your child over 3-4 appointments.

Cost and Pricing

We do not accept insurance for assessment services. Our hourly rate for assessment is $225 per hour for psychologists, and $150 per hour for psychological associates. The scope of each assessment and associated cost varies depending on what the referral question is and which psychological measures are required to address your concern. Before we get started, we provide you with a quote with transparent pricing.
